What is Happy Flow?
Happy Flow is the first 100% self-service airport journey based on biometrics by Vision-Box, a passenger processing system in which the traveller's identity verification is made by facial biometric recognition.
The process
A modularised approach to illustration
Dozens of versions of Happy Flow were made for different mediums, sometimes on an ad-hoc basis for specific projects or pitch decks, so these illustrations needed to be quick and practical to build.

Happy Flow in Aruba 2015 was the first 100% biometric on-the-ground journey in the world. Since it’s launch, and especially after the pandemic, seamless self-service journeys based in biometry have become the norm in travel.

The modularity of The Happy Flow illustrations made it possible for it to be used in countless sales bids, industry events and presentations, contributing to the growth of the project.
Vision-Box has a 30% Global Market share in Automated Border Control, with technology in airports across more than 100 countries - chances are that if you have travelled by plane, you have used a Vision-Box gate.
