Fixing repairs and maintenance management
I worked at Fixflo for five years, managing a small team of designers and collaborating on numerous marketing initiatives, including the brand refresh, website redesign, video editing, and many more. Here is a glimpse of some of the projects I had a direct impact on.

Fixflo is the UK's market-leading repairs and maintenance management software for property managers. Their mission is to make homes and places of work better and safer for all by allowing repairs to be seamless, bridging the gap of communication between tenants, property managers, landlords and tradespeople.
The brand refresh
Raising the roof
Fixflo was expanding to new markets, so we removed the connection to the Lettings market (the house shape), simplifying the logo and asserting the company as a market leader.
Fixflo is a thought leader in the Proptech market, providing various pieces of digital content on legislation and industry trends every week. To support this, we kept an accessible and playful - but reliable - brand identity and tone of voice.
We still needed to cater to more corporate markets, and with this in mind, we tailored each piece by adjusting the use of colour and type of imagery.
The wavy shapes used for backgrounds are reminiscent of water puddles, linking to the original use of the app: to fix issues, like leaks, in a faster, more streamlined way.

In line with the product
I worked with the Product team to create a new iconography style for the UI of the white-labelled repair reporting interface of the Fixflo product, connecting it with the main brand by maintaining an outline-heavy style. These change colour according to the client's brand on their reporting portal.

42% increase in conversion rates
I led the creative direction and design output of the website revamp on Hubspot CMS from concept to launch, starting by working with internal stakeholders and designing the website in Figma. The main objective of the project was an uptake on conversion rates, which were improved by 42%.
I was involved in project management—facilitating communication between teams, resolving issues, managing our in-house designers, organising timelines and deliverables, and working closely with an external development agency to ensure a smooth hand-off and sign-off, overseeing quality control and responsive testing.

The outcome
Supporting a fast-growing business
Since the brand refresh in January 2020, the number of Fixflo users doubled from 5,000 in February 2019 to 10,000 in October 2020, and grew exponentially ever since, reaching 220,000 users in January 2024.

Fixflo became a household name for not only the Lettings market but also Block Management, expanded to Built to Rent, Commercial, Student Accommodation and Social Housing. It's currently also used in multiple retirement homes across the UK and other institutions.
